making paleo cookies :D

for tomorrow. YUM! am mixing almond flour into my first batch. if good, i shall make subsequent batches with almond flour. am going to make more cookies this time.

yesterday's WOD was fantastic. i completed 6 rounds w 8 seconds to spare. i actually enjoy running now, which simultaneously shocks and pleases me. am excited to prepare for the half and the rangar. i shall blog my training here. and chronicle my pledge to forgo cheese, save for the occasional gluten free pizza, and sweets, save for the occasional dark choc, paleo cookies (very rare), and gluten free brownies. i have been doing well with this. :D

i bought raspberries last night at fresh market. i ate 4 last night and 4 this morning, but had to throw away the remainder because they were mush. WTF. themz be expensive. i am displeased. the blueberries and strawberries, however, are fantastic. i buy all organic fruit. is for best. i had me some applegate farms free range chicken and sage organic sausage this morning. check it at http://www.applegatefarms.com/Products/ProductDetail.aspx?id=2258. they are v. good, and as clean as can be -- no gluten, no soy, and extremely low amounts of cane sugar. i ate the fruit, sausage, and avocado w/ walnuts for breakfast. was most excellent.

what's up with soy creeping into so much supposedly good food?! amy's organics is a good option when on the run. but dang! even some of amy's frozen food has soy. i think soy is the devil. ;) seriously, it's essentially a GMO that causes hormonal surges in both men and women.

back to the grind. end of the semester is upon me. next week will bring 75 research papers to grade. blarg. must grade discussions and then crossfit. huzzah!

Yes on the Yoga I am in. I think I am going to start going twice a week or at least once a week. It centers me and I miss that. I'm excited for your cookies:) Yummy. See you tomorrow!
