i am calling yesterday's WOD ASSHole

AMRAP in 12 minutes of
Push Press, 8 reps @ 65/95
KBS, 16 reps @ 16-k/24-k

Wow! that really hard for me. i was initially disappointed with my results -- 5 rounds + 8 PPs -- but then i realized i did RX (last time i completed almost 7 rounds, but lifted 53) so I should feel good. when i first started i could barely lift a bar, and then i fell off the wagon, and now i'm lifting some RX weights. i felt so shitty about my body that i didn't want anyone to see it even move, but now i feel/look so much better -- am stronger and leaning out. yay! I just cannot help being competitive, even though i am one of the least strong and typically am at the bottom of the list in terms of numbers. i definitely have a competitive drive within.

breakfast: 3 HB eggs, apple, some almond butter, tea NO creamer--eeeee!

am going to eat the rest of my cashews before Sunday. dang it! i didn't know until last night that cashews are toxic. bastards. ;) Tomorrow and Saturday I am having a last hurrah before Sunday unfolds. I am meeting a friend tomorrow for chef brooks. one can get really nutritious and delicious food there, though legumes and grains tend to sneak onto the plate. i will do my best to avoid said foods. but i am going to enjoy a nice Brooke's gentle chai latte. sigh. i also am meeting a friend for sushi on sat., then to a party where i will either have beer or bring some paleo friendly hard liquor if we have any on hand. though i really love a nice glass of jamesons whiskey once a month or so, so i may indulge in the barley containing spirit.

OK -- back to work!

Hey Jane - as far as the farm tour is concerned, I emailed them to confirm a spot. I believe the website is Wordenfarms.com.
