wow. yesterday was INTENSE! hats off to Kristin, Diane, and I. we each bested our previous times by at least six minutes. snap! i am most impressed with us. ;)
I have been eating extremely well this week, but DID consume an indulgence-farewell dinner this evening of most of a moes quesadilla and chips followed by a small stone cold creamery chocolate ice cream with almonds and graham cracker crumbs. yum. tomorrow night i want to eat sushi as an official last meal, and will drink beer in the evening, but then, the excitement begins. by truly committing myself to the challenge for two full months, i hope to learn a lot about what foods make me feel well, what foods trigger sickness, what foods i don't want to give up, what foods i'm willing to let go, what foods i have sentimental and/or cultural attachments to, and what foods enhance or hinder my performance at the gym and related events (think 5K). i hope going paleo ultimately will help me some day have fewer food hang ups.

yes to everything you just said ;)
I am quite sure you, miss jane, will succeed strongly in this endeavor- you already 'get' it.
so, so proud of you and it is an absolute pleasure to watch you train hard and receive the benefits- which are not going unnoticed!
this post speaks volumes given that you write it on picture day! thanks, Ms. Sarah...once again. you're so lovely. :)
