Day 10
today was a day of good/bad dualities.
the morning started off good/bad. first with the bad: i missed a class because of a recent schedule change. es no bueno. now with the good: i weighed 138 pounds this am, as in Holy FN CATS! I don't regularly weigh myself, but am keenly aware of the fact that I have been weighing in at 142 to 150 lbs over the past year and a half, which es no bueno. at my fittest, ca. 4 years ago, i weighed 130. i likely won't ever weigh 130 again because i have more muscle now than ever before...in my life. es muy muy bueno. Yet I cannot help but **happy dance** because i broke the 130 -- barrier without even trying! such a feat would have required many skipped meals before crossfit and paleo. yesterday i ate super well, no skimping, just good, satisfying paleo food. i wasn't even trying. rejoice!
middle of the day good/bad:
middle of the day bad: my little brother is in crisis. :(
middle of the day good: a VIP announced that i am a smart rising star at a VIP meeting. la la la.
end of the day good/bad: i got pulled into the Research Instruction Lab at 6:15 to help some students. first the bad: i just got out of the Lab -- it's 7:15 -- which means i missed Crossfit. the good: i can make up the missed WOD on the weekends now. i will make this one up on Sunday since Saturday is the piper 5K. more good: these girls (students) where lovely, inquisitive, and engaged. i love educational highes! more bad: i have a serious tickle in my throat and am feeling increasingly run down. am getting fn sick. es no bueno.
today's food:
meal 1: English breakfast/green tea and honey; banana paleo pancakes
meal 2: leftover meatloaf and veggies (see yesterday)
snack: Brazil nuts and apple
meal 3: meatloaf, salad w tomato and nuts and salsa, 1 tiny paleo pancake w honey for dessert. OJ for cold. am not craving non paleo food, surprisingly. am not craving milk chocolate or cheese or creamer, the three foods i thought i would miss the most.
note to blog: this Tuesday i'm going to the vag logues with some ladies at 7:30p. am going to miss Tuesday's WOD (at least i can CFE), but will make it up on the following Sat.

THAT is a GREAT Valentine's idea!! yes I am! :) muah, you lean little monster. Big time FUN stuff when numbers on the scale 'happen' like that...
