Edison 5K!!! completed in ca. 30 minutes. must check exact time. enjoyed immensely. will do that one again for certain.
hungry after race, while meatloaf baking...
snack: apple and sunflower seeds
meal: paleo meatloaf, red sauce, salsa, spinach, onion, garlic, lemon
cheat alert!!!
went to a punk rock reunion downtown at 11p. consumed only one drink: a rum & coke. had i properly weighed my options i would have ordered vodka & cranberry, to avoid the devilish cola. social situations make me nervous because of my specialness. :/ Tequila is not an option for me, because EW. Better potato than hops, barley, and yeast. (oh, my!)
around 1am, as we sat outside of Indigo, I felt serious hunger pangs. all that running! :) I thought about the delciousness of downtown pizza for about 20 minutes, and then got a slice of white pizza, which = cheese on bread. and garlic. i am very picky about pizza, and love the downtown slices. yum! no regrets. v. worthwhile cheat. thankfully i consequently am craving neither cheese nor bread. i think i will enjoy cheese, really good quality cheese, as an occasional treat when the challenge ends. but bread? far more rarely shall i partake. bread, to me, has no redeeming qualities and is far too questionable a food.
i didn't get home until 2:30am, even though i was ready to leave at 1am. tired. napped in the late afternoon to induce productivity. am grading. i see essays in my sleep. wah.
