Day 43
meal 1: chicken loaf of onion, garlic, flaxseed, olive oil, chicken; pesto sauce of tomato paste, olive oil, flaxseed, garlic, and toasted pecans and walnuts
lunch: chicken loaf; pesto sauce; spinach, broccoli, onion, & garlic
snack: apple and almonds
dinner: chicken loaf; salsa; spinach
evil cheat dessert: a very non-paleo Reeses big cup -- oh my! had such a wicked day; i've 4 major presentations, which i have to create from scratch, to present between this Thursday and next Tuesday, in addition to all of my regular teaching duties. oy. i considered getting up early this am to crossfit, but with the time change and my spring break night owl schedule, i decided to do today's WOD on Saturday, since i had to teach a class at 6:30p, and thus couldn't crossfit at 7p. bummer. i'm so into PRs now. I used to dislike weightlifting days and often skip them. now i look forward to them. i actually bought weightlifting shoes. a weak nerd buying weightlifting shoes? holy cats! to address the Reeses: such weird timing. last night nacci posted her Reeses cheat. i LOVE chocolate and peanut butter. so yum. though i must say, Reeses is now far too sweet. i would much prefer a far less unhealthy, yet nearly equally indulgent cheat of Vosges Mexican ancho/chipotle chillies/Ceylon cinnamon dark chocolate bar. yum. upon getting home at 9pm! tonight, i thought to myself that some chocolate would be good. since i ate on the lighter side today, i also thought hmmm, i even have room, but nah. all internal dialog. then Eric said he was going to the convenient store and would i like a Reeses big cup? i thought to myself, this is meant to be! ;) so i said yes and i ated it and it was WORTH IT!
